MEETINGS The Bismarck English Riders board of directors meets every month to govern the club and plan events. Often the directors will hold general membership meetings, in which each member is welcome to attend and provide input. During the summer months of May through August, a monthly meeting is held at the Walt Neuens Memorial Horse Park. Members are encouraged to bring their horses and ride from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., and then meet with the board of directors at 7:30 p.m. to discuss club business. (Note: To ride in the Walt Neuens Memorial Horse Park, you must be a paid member of both the Bismarck English Riders and the Bismarck Horse Club for insurance purposes.) On a nice autumn day, BER hosts an annual trail ride instead of a business meeting. Then in December, the club hosts a Christmas party instead of a business meeting. On the off months, the board continues to meet once a month throughout the year to discuss club business and plan for the following year’s activities. You do NOT need to be a BER member to attend English riding meetings, and the board welcomes your input! For more information on specific meeting times and locations, please contact Christy. |
